BAG44 ... every bag is hand made
We do not mass produce our bags; each is individually hand cut and sewn. Because our bags are hand made, there may be slight variations in sizes.
We have an excellent selection and variety of fabrics, however we cannot guarantee that every fabric will always be available. There are times when a designer discontinues a specific line of fabric or a supplier no longer carries it. So if you see a style or color you really like, don't wait, chances are someone else is looking at that very same bag. Our fabrics and leathers can sell out quickly!

can be reproduced. If a fabric or accessory is no longer available, it will be noted in the purse's description. You can choose from our fabric gallery to create your own "custom design". Please note that some fabric colors can look different on different computer monitors.
Bag styles are shown in different fabrics and with variations in design. Simply using a different color and pattern or a different strap can totally change the character of the bag. That is why custom design is so great; you may start with the same design as your friend, but you can create a bag that reflects your own style and personality. Prices for the same styles can vary depending on additional design features and type of fabric used.

Our fabrics are divided into 16 categories, including a what's new, that allows you to go directly to the style or pattern you want. custom design your own handbag
Purchase ready made handbags or design your own. We allow
customers to individualize and customize our handbags to meet their own personal taste and style. You can even mix features from different styles to create your own “original” BAG44 design.If you are “the designer” you choose the style, the exterior fabrics,
inside lining, the number and type of inside and/or outside pockets,
hardware, trims, straps, accessories. On most styles you can change the dimensions to make your purse bigger or smaller than our original design. The cost of the bag is dependent on the extent of modification you make to the basic design and the fabric you select. If you want to use one of our decorator or designer fabrics, leathers or suedes, the cost of the bag will be more. Zippers are an additional cost of $5.00 to $10.00.
Bright colors or soft muted tones, classic patterns or retro swirls, paisley, flowers, animal prints; you tell us what you want. We have an excellent variety of fabrics and materials from which to choose, but if we do not have what you want, we will make every effort to locate additional selections for you.
Our "design your own handbag" service is available through a BAG44 Purse Party, at art and craft shows where we exhibit, and on-line. At this time we do not have all of our designs and fabrics in the photo gallery, so please check back often as we will be continuously adding to our site. Add a special touch to your bag with a monogram. Especially great for baby, little girl and school sorority bags. Make your bag stand out with a sorority monogram or your zodiac sign. Monogramming is an additional cost based on the number of letters, size and style. Average for three letters is $9 to $15.

A handbag makes the perfect gift for birthdays, holidays, new mothers or your mother; is also a great way to say "congratulations" or "thank you". We will do custom designs for special occasions such as weddings, proms, birthdays, baby showers.

Belonging to the BAG44 Club is an excellent way to receive some great gifts, discounts and special promotions, and have a lot of fun.

Arts On The Green
Thanks to everyone who stopped by to visit with us at the 2008 Arts on the Green show in LaGrange KY. It was a fun weekend and we hope to see you again next summer.
